Jouanna provided such excellent care during my pregnancy and especially my delivery. I had a tough delivery and Jouanna was there with me every step of the way, providing assurances and I felt very safe, heard and cared for. She is extremely professional and visited me right after at the hospital to make sure I am well even on a weekend. She answers all my questions promptly, and was very knowledgeable and well prepared for my complicated delivery even though there was a divergence at the initial hospital we were supposed to go to. All of the nurses at the hospital was singing her praises that she goes above and beyond what they have seen for other midwives! Her kindness and care truly shows and I had a very positive experience as a first time mom.
Although the office seems a bit disorganized (not sure if it’s due to COVID) and there are other midwives at the practice, I would highly recommend Jouanna.

When I first found out I was pregnant and trying to decide between OB and Midwife, I was a little hesitant seeing the reviews from this place. My husband and I decided to give it a try and even though my first initial appointment wasn’t the greatest with the initial midwife, (can’t remember her name). We soon discovered on our second appointment that Jouanna Zahra Eshaghi was the perfect midwife to guide us through our first pregnancy. She is incredibly knowledgeable, gives great recommendations, kept me calm and excited and repeatedly told me to enjoy my pregnancy. She is so kind and has a heart of gold, she truly cares about each and everyone of her patients. I’ll never forget my first experience from beginning to end! So glad she delivered our baby and will highly recommend her to anyone that is expecting! She goes above and beyond, even after labour and postpartum! Thank you Jouanna for everything you did, it was a perfect experience

| Message: | Jouanna delivered my child on December 2020. Jouanna is a seasoned midwife with more than 15 years of experience but she still has so much passion for her craft. Since this was my first pregnancy, I was anxious and had many questions and concerns. Jouanna was supportive throughout my journey and patiently answered all my questions. This meant a lot to me because everything was new and nerve-wrecking. She was also very prompt in their correspondence (emails, texts, and phone calls) during my pregnancy and the postpartum 6 weeks care. In the delivery room, she provided me with lots of verbal encouragement, which was very important, because my labor was more than 50 hours. My husband and I really appreciated the at-home postpartum visits. She was able to spot my diastasis recti early on and recommended me to a seasoned pelvic floor physiotherapist for my postpartum recovery. I have friends who had their first child around the same time as me and they did not receive the same quality of care from their OBs. I highly recommend seeing Jouanna for your pregnancy and delivery. |

Jouanna took excellent care of me during my pregnancy and at the post partum visits.
I always had LOTS of questions and Jouanna took the time to answer every one of them which left me feeling cared for. She went the extra mile which not many midwifes do these days anymore so if you are pregnant look no further, Jouanna is a gem!

I was lucky to have her part of the midwife team when I had my first daughter and second son. Both times I was extremely pleased. I love how informative she is and supportive of what I want to do during my pregnancy’s/birth. I ended up having an emergency c section with my first and a schedule c section with my second. I was so happy that I was able to still have a midwife even for my scheduled c section. The care Jouanna provides is exceptional. | Message: | Jouanna. I have nothing but amazing things to say. This was my first full-term pregnancy and she was nothing short of exceptional. I honestly couldn’t have asked for better care. She is so loving caring gentle kind and the best hype man you could ask for during birth. Since the first day I was under her care I just knew there was something special about her. She’s one of those people who don’t come around very often in life … And when you meet them .. you keep them near and dear to your heart. I am so glad she was there with us bringing our little munchkin into this world.Her care throughout my pregnancy and after felt just so natural. Like I was dealing with more of a friend. Being there for us and knowing she was just a phone call away was so reassuring. First-time parent questions .. they’re silly .. we all have them .. but we knew she would answer them anyway. With your emotions running high and hormones all over the place, she will be there to reassure you that everything will be ok. During one of our follow-up appointments with her our little guy “blessed” her while he was on the scale. Gave her a little sprinkle of luck lol Jouanna .
