Since this was my first pregnancy, I was anxious and had many questions and concerns. Jouanna was supportive throughout my journey and patiently answered all my questions. This meant a lot to me because everything was new and nerve-wrecking. She was also very prompt in their correspondence (emails, texts, and phone calls) during my pregnancy and the postpartum 6 weeks care. In the delivery room, she provided me with lots of verbal encouragement, which was very important, because my labor was more than 50 hours. My husband and I really appreciated the at-home postpartum visits. She was able to spot my diastasis recti early on and recommended me to a seasoned pelvic floor physiotherapist for my postpartum recovery. I have friends who had their first child around the same time as me and they did not receive the same quality of care from their OBs.
